This very lovely, large loaf of bread baked out too big to toast! However, there are helpfully offered proportions for a medium loaf, as well, more utile, no doubt.
This is a very nice, every-day sort of loaf, excellent for toast and sandwiches, nice and light with a little bit of chewiness. It has just a hint of sour despite letting it set up for about 8 hours; additionally added was a bit of wheat bran and sunflower seeds.
Four days later it continues to hold the moisture well, not yet crummy. Great whole wheat recipe with fine texture and excellent aeration:
