The quick rise sourdough again turned out beautifully, this time secured safely away from the dog… It isn’t sour but the sponge is pretty mild again – a light whole wheat bread, great for sandwiches.
The sourdoughs also, consequently, weren’t particularly sour and the roasted garlic was rushed so was chunky rather than evenly distributed throughout the bread. Still very good but Jared was disappointed.
The grassini turned out perfectly, nice and crunchy. The toppings are mostly decoration, the flavor little changed, regardless.
