The richness of the fare is in the grilling, not the medium

We recently attempted to make black bean burgers but all we got was soup.  Fortunately, we gave it a go again, trying our hand with a different recipe.  We threw the resultant patties on the grill

And served on a bun with Nayonaise, jalepeno, feta cheese, onion, lettuce and tomato.

These were very good.
