Show Some Salt Love

I have always preferred to have sea salt in the kitchen rather than regular table salt.

1. Dan has an iodine allergy, so iodized salt is a big No-No.

2. I just like the taste and texture of sea salt a heck of a lot better.

The last time I was at Trader Joe’s and perusing the spices section, you can imagine my giddiness (did I just say giddiness???) at finding this:

It’s not iodized, it’s PINK (how cute is that?) and it just sounds fancy (and I mean Spongebob fancy…..two pinky fingers up in the air).

Really, it’s just fun to grind it into our food.  And if  you can’t make food fun – well, then it’s just boring.
