Best pizza in a long time: Asparagus, sliced onion, slivered garlic, minced mushroom, black olives, spanish olives, cheese, and shredded spinach added at the end. Two nice things about this crust are it holds up well without being tough or chewy and it is very demure, letting the flavors of the toppings manifest much more than typical.

Yet another ‘fu scramble, with onions, spinach, and notably, fresh turmeric, which, you would never guess is a member of the ginger family, using the dried form.
It adds a great, but mild, ginger-y flavor and a nice tan to your finger tips. Otherwise, redundantly flavored with soy, rice vinegar, sesame oil and red pepper flakes.
And a super simple, sweet and quick bagel bite, topped with tofutti, marmalade and refreshing pomegranate seeds:
The market had 5 poms for $2! What a steal!

A delicious mix of flavors from Epicurean Vegan:

These tacos have been a favorite since first tried, last summer (over the birthday holiday!), yet they somehow eluded capture to this point, perhaps since they have only previously been observed in the wilderness – well, while camping.
The marinade is fantastic. Once the tofu is cooked we like to toss the pieces back into the marinade pan with what remained and, or, also like to spoon a bit of the sauce on the tortilla.
The slaw on top is an excellent complement and adds a great little crunch.
This is the first time the tofu wasn’t cooked over a campfire – still good. The smoke is a really nice addition, though, so perhaps a touch of liquid smoke for non-camp compilation, and baking could provide a bit firmer consistency, as it was on the flame.
